
After releasing a new version of its Linux operating system this month, Manx-based Canonical Software isn't sitting back on its laurels.
The company, founded by Island resident Mark Shuttleworth, has announced further details of a forthcoming version, which is due out next year.
Ubuntu 12.04 will be codenamed Precise Pangolin, and will feature at a developer summit in Florida next week.
Precise Pangolin is to be released in April 2012, to replace Oneiric Ocelot which was unveiled on October 13.
