New player in e-gaming sector
A UK based company has been given the go-ahead to operate its fixed-odds financial betting app on the Island.
Nous Global Markets was given Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission approval to run Spark Profit - a free-to-play virtual trading game.
The game sees players prediciting financial market moves in return for cash prizes.
It's already attracted more than 300,000 users in 200 countries since it was launched in January 2014.
