Domain names fit the bill
A Manx-based company says technology’s finally caught up enough for it to make use of internet domain names it’s held for a decade.
Online Regional Travel Group owns and operates Mann Link Business Travel, Mann Link Travel and Richmond Travel as well as the VisitIOM website.
It’s launched FlyAbuDhabi.co.uk this week, specialising in flights and accommodation in the Gulf destination.
Brian Kelly of ORTG says the company’s owned the domain along with many more for over 10 years but have been waiting for technology to catch up with the demands of today’s online travel booker.
He says other global sites are currently in development – and says a local travel brand will launch later this year.
