
Manx2 says its new route between the Isle of Man and London Oxford, due to begin in early May, is proving popular with Island travellers seeking leisure breaks.
The route will provide the Oxford airport, currently a business facility only, with its first scheduled passenger service.
The majority of advance bookings have been made by Islanders seeking breaks in Oxford and the Cotswolds or those connecting with Manx2's onward route to Jersey.
Business travellers heading for London will be taken by bus to Oxford Airport for the hour's rail journey to London Marylebone.
Months of detailed market analysis preceded the decision to commit to the new route.
