Panel to discuss how the Island can prepare for MONEYVAL evaluation

Discussion to be held at the Comis Hotel tomorrow

How the Island's business community, government and regulators can prepare ahead of the upcoming MONEYVAL evaluation in October 2026 will be the topic of a panel discussion tomorrow (1 May).

The free event will feature representatives from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority and Gambling Supervision Commission, alongside members of industry here on the Island, and from Jersey following its own recent successful evaluation. 

The 'Preparing for MONEYVAL' expert panel discussion will be held at the Comis Hotel, hosted by Tiller Technologies, the Jersey headquartered AML technology platform. 

Guests are welcome to arrive at 8.30am for coffee and networking before the hour-long event begins at 9am. 

The discussion – which will be moderated by Sinead O’Connor (Head of Regulatory and Compliance Services, DQ Advocates) – will feature the following panellists:

  • David Baker (Senior Manager, Isle of Man Financial Services Authority);
  • Shannon Reid (AML/CFT Technical Advisor, Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission);
  • Scott Le Flour (Founder & Director of Jersey based Triskele Solutions);
