Douglas promenade venue opened in 2018
Peggy's nightclub in Douglas is set to close its doors for the very last time in October.
The venue, on Douglas promenade, started as a pop-up in 2018.
Now, owners say they want to 'leave in our prime, with heads held high. Rather than allowing things to become stale, as so often happens'.
It's not the end for the space itself, though.
A post circulated on the club's social media accounts this evening says they are working on a brand new pop-up concept for the venue, with plans to open by Christmas this year.
Meanwhile, a series of 'closing parties' are due to be announced next week, in the lead up to the eventual closure on 2 October.
We have some news to share.

On October 2nd we will close our pink doors for the very last time.
We always promised we’d be “here for a good time, not a long time”, and we believe now is the right time for us to say goodbye. pic.twitter.com/50dj86GDPa
