Submissions move from October to November
The deadline for the submission of personal income tax returns has been extended from 6 October until 6 November 2020.
This includes online and paper submissions and comes following the postponement of the issue of paper tax returns, to individual tax payers for the year ended 5 April 2020.
The Income Tax Division has confirmed they will now be issued on 6 May 2020.
Meanwhile, the public counter on the second floor of Government Offices remains closed, but anyone with urgent enquires should contact the team by calling 685400 or emailing incometax@itd.treasury.gov.im.
An Online Tax Services system is available for further support.
If you have not enrolled, you can do so by calling the Income Tax Division on 685400 or visiting the government's website, gov.im.
