A major United Kingdom pet store will open a branch in the Isle of Man next month.
It's been confirmed the new Pets at Home outlet will start trading on December 9.
It will be on the Spring Valley Industrial Estate, near B&Q, off Cooil Road in Braddan.
Pets at Home was granted planning permission to open at a unit in 2009 and advertised for a store manager last year.
Some local vets, kennel owners and pet shop managers on the Island have expressed concern its arrival will spell bad news for their businesses.
