War of words between MT and Sure
Two rival telecoms providers have defended claims they are somehow both 'the best mobile network in the Isle of Man'.
Sure and Manx Telecom took the self-styled accolades for themselves this week, which company bosses say are backed up by two opposing sets of independent research.
While Sure's network is reported to be 'much stronger and more widespread' than its competitor, MT insists it 'performs best for both voice and data performance'.
Sure Chief Executive Mike Phillips says the conclusion depends on which factors are assessed - but Manx Telecom's Stephen Kane says Sure was only faster in getting its press release out.
