
A Manx-based online gaming company says it's paid out one of its largest ever jackpots, creating a new millionaire.
Playtech, which designs, develops and licenses software for the gaming industry, announced it had paid out more than £1.3 million to a customer playing one of its video slot machines.
The man, identified only as Andres V, was playing on a network which combines online, mobile and landbased jackpots at an online casino.
Since its launch the particular slot machine, called Gold Rally, has paid out more than £15 million to jackpot winners.
