A Manx farmer says there has been a widely held fear within the industry that the meat plant at Tromode could be on the way out.
However, plans to turn the loss-making facility around have given him renewed hope.
Kevin Kinrade was in the audience for a presentation by the plant's so called 'turnaround director',
Scott Baker.
Mr Kinrade says he now has confidence for a much better future, as long as the industry can provide the supply of meat it is asked for:
