Financial services regarded with suspicion
The public's trust in business has fallen.
That's the belief of the the Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Simon Osborne is on the Island today (Thurs) to give a talk about the critical role that company secretaries now play in the field of governance.
Mr Osborne says financial services are regarded with particular suspicion, though there has been what he calls "bad behaviour" in several other professions .
The talk is between 6-7.30pm in the Garden Room at The Sefton Hotel.
Registration is at 5.45. It's free of charge for IoD and ICSA members or £15 for non-members.
