


A major planning decision will be taken shortly on whether a public inquiry is needed into a proposal to re zone land off the Cooil Road in Braddan into light industrial use.Its currently agriculural.
The area runs from a point opposite the B and Q turn-off to beyond the Cooil roundabout.
Conditions for approval include a landscaping master plan, protection for the amenities for those living in the immediate area and designs for buildings taking into account the prominent and rural character of the land.
