Recognition for Island food and drink

Apple Orphanage and Noa win awards

Two Island businesses are celebrating after winning a category each in a British magazine's awards.

The Apple Orphanage was named 'Britain's favourite drinks producer' and Noa Bakehouse 'Britain's favourite food producer'.

Meanwhile, Filbey's Bistro came second in the 'Britain's favourite place to eat' category.

LandLove magazine's awards are voted for by the public and recognise things like artisan producers, popular landmarks, wildlife organisations, places to eat and clothing brands.
