Record number of new listings on The International Stock Exchange for 2020

'Strong rise' following Brexit uncertainty

There has been a record-breaking number of new listings on The International Stock Exchange this year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

A total of 390 securities have been admitted to the Official List of TISE since January.

This signifies a rise of around 60% in comparison to the same time in 2019.

TISE is headquartered in Guernsey, and has offices in the Isle of Man and Jersey.

CEO of The International Stock Exchange Group (TISEG), Fiona Le Poidevin, said: “Last year the uncertainty created largely by Brexit led to subdued levels of listing activity during the first half of 2019.

This then gave way to a much stronger performance during the second half of last year which continued into the first quarter of 2020."
