Manx2.com is celebrating after its best ever week for ticket sales.
The company says last week’s booking figures were 17 per cent higher than the same week last year – mostly because people delayed booking their summer holidays because of the bad weather in January.
Chairman Noel Hayes says the first half of January is usually the firm’s key period – but after misery because of snow, there’s been a resurgence in bookings over the last fortnight.
The news comes following Manx2.com’s best-ever year in 2009 when it carried more than 100,000 passengers.
