Food stores implement social distancing and face coverings
A number of businesses have already implemented Covid measures ahead of tomorrow.
Coop stores will bring back two-metre social distancing, limits on numbers in stores, as well as advisory mask wearing for customers.
A one-way system is being introduced at Marks and Spencer, along with other hygiene measures. The store's cafe, clothing and home sections will be closed after today.
Shoprite has worked to reinstate measures, including protective till screens, maintaining two metre social distancing and increasing sanitisation, cleaning procedures and safety measures.
It is a requirement to wear face coverings in Shoprite stores, and dedicated shopping hours will be brought back for senior citizens and vulnerable customers between 8am - 9am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings.
