The Treasury Minister doesn't feel a potential downgrade of the Island's bond ratings will have a major impact on the Manx economy.
Moody's is set to review the AAA status.
It's thought if the ratings agency does downgrade the Island it will be because of external pressures, rather than domestic finances.
