Two firms of financial advisers in the Isle of Man, who have previously been in competition, have mergerd.
MBL Financial Services, which had offices in Ridgeway Street, Douglas has joined forces with CFS Financial Consultants, which had offices in Athol Street in the capital, and Parliament Street in Ramsey.
The new enterprise has been named MBL Financial and staff from both merged companies have moved to new premises, on Finch Road in Douglas.
MBL aims to be one of the Island's biggest IFAs, offering life assurance, mortgage, savings and pension advice.
Matt Evans joined the new company from CFS and is joint managing director with Simon Pickering.
Mr Evans told Marian Kenny the merger makes sound economic sense:
How could the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm create long-term economic benefits for the Isle of Man?
Zurich interns raise over £13k for local charities
How will global oil prices impact Manx customers?
