Isle of Man-based Royal London 360 has announced cheering sales figures despite the economic downturn.
The company, which includes Scottish Provident International, which it bought from Resolution last year, increased sales to £126.9 million, from £90.3 million.
The figures came as Royal London announced it had enjoyed a strong start to the year with protection sales, with Scottish Provident boosting first half turnover by 12 per cent.
The insurer says its new business premiums rose to £1.19 billion in the six months to 30 June, from £1.06 billion in the first half of 2008.
