
A British MP says the way to solve tax anomalies – the target of the UK Treasury – is to simplify the tax system.
Cities of London and Westminster MP, Mark Field, was on the Island for talks with Chief Minister Allan Bell on the day the Manx government signed up to a tax information sharing scheme with the UK.
Mr Field says the complexity of tax law lays the way open for tax avoidance.
