Six of the richest people in Britain live in the Isle of Man, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
The 2010 list shows our richest residents range from John Taylor, who is worth £70 million, up to John Whittaker – whose billion pound fortune makes him the 50th wealthiest person in Britain.
Philip Beresford, the list’s co-author, says he’s certain there are more rich people living in the Isle of Man he hasn’t uncovered yet.
And he says this year’s list is missing one familiar name.
