Staff-led scheme from Microgaming celebrates 2nd anniversary

More than £120,000 raised for charity since it was set up

This month marks the second anniversary of a staff-led charitable scheme set up under Microgaming PlayItForward.

The corporate social responsibility programme - of software supplier Microgaming - has helped to raise more than £120,000 in donations since its official launch in April 2018.

Now in its sixth year, the programme has attracted more than 55 staff suggestions.

In 2019 alone, the initiative helped 12 charities and an additional 30 causes – donating £50,000, as well as guidance, volunteer opportunities and practical support.

Some charities which benefited from this include Manx organisations such as Huntington's Disease Association, The Children's Centre and Victim Support Isle of Man.

The CEO of Microgaming has said it "gives us the framework to get directly involved in communities worldwide as we continue to do good and implement positive change."
