Firms gain, lose several staff members

Staff changes abound in two Island finance companies.

Independent financial adviser Edgewater Associates has appointed six new staff in various roles.

They include financial planner and nuclear physicist Colin Moore, and former Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) President Bryan O'Connor.

Kim Fleming, Charlotte Urgias, Samantha Hall and Sam Trinder will also join the team.

Meanwhile, fiduciary services provider Equiom bids farewell to a senior member of staff.

Phillip Dearden is leaving his position as Director of Tax after three years with the company.

Managing Director Helen Woods thanked him for his support and work in developing the company's structure.

Derek McNutt will join Equiom as a Senior Tax Consultant.
