Three Manx teams hope to strike gold in Island Games
Three Manx teams are hoping to strike gold in the Island Games next month thanks to support from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
The archery, football and cycling squads will represent the Island in Jersey from June 27th, and all their equipment will be transported by the company.
While the majority of the Manx teams will fly to Jersey, the cost of flying the equipment as well would be too much.
Steam Packet Chief Executive Mark Woodward says the company is happy to help these three teams and hopes they have a fantastic time competing.
