Treasury Minister Anne Craine faces a test this evening (Tuesday) as she delivers a key speech in front of leading financiers and decision makers, at the Gresham Lecture in London.
Her talk, entitled 'Extinction or Evolution? The Future for Offshore Centres', will be in front of an audience which may not all be friendly.
Convenor of the lecture Professor Michael Mainelli, who will interview Mrs Craine afterwards, says she will face difficult questions, provided by those attending the event:
Indoor play business makes 'very difficult decision' to close
Online gambling sector subject to more 'rigorous scrutiny' than ever before
World Cup providing 'goal-den' opportunity for hospitality sector
New Subway to open its doors in Douglas
