Firms' synergy drives deal and future growth
Two of the Island's largest commercial services businesses are joining forces.
Cleaning and maintenance firm Strand Group has been taken over by Prospero Holdings, a leading provider of utilities and refurbishment solutions.
The deal, which is for an undisclosed sum, was announced with immediate effect (20 Feb).
It's been described by bosses as 'business as usual' – with imminent plans to expand the now-200 strong combined staff base.
Strand, whose clients include the Steam Packet Company, will house operations at its 18,000 square foot headquarters in Tromode.
