Carrier reinstates perk
Customers on the Sure mobile network will now be able to receive calls for free again when using their phones in Europe.
The carrier this month announced it was after moves by Manx Telecom to lower roaming charges for its pay monthly users, by way of an optional 'Roaming Booster' tariff.
Sure customers were originally able to receive calls free of charge abroad anyway, but the perk was removed to offset the new roaming rates for calls, texts and data.
Alistair Beak from the company says reinstating it has come 'as a result of listening to feedback'.
Purchasing a Roaming Booster costs an additional £6 per month.
