The Isle of Man has signed a double taxation agreement and memorandum of understanding on economic, trade and technical cooperation with Bahrain.
The document was signed in Bahrain by Treasury Minister Anne Craine and Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Bahrain's Minister of Finance.
It's the Island's 22nd agreement meeting OECD international tax standards on transparency and information exchange.
Mrs Craine says Bahrain is a key financial hub in the Middle East, and the agreements will boost business and investment opportunities between Bahrain and the Isle of Man.
