Tax services going online

The Manx government says the next twelve months will see the Isle of Man's largest employers forced to use online tax services.

The Income Tax Division has published its response to a consultation, and says its proposals have been approved by Treasury.

The changes will be introduced in phases starting in April 2012, when firms with more than 100 employees will be required to use the online services.

Companies with 10 or more employees will use the services from April 2013, and all other employers will go online the year after.
