Telecom operators from small states around the world are taking part in a two day conference at the Sefton Hotel in Douglas.
The Teleforum Meeting, opened today by the Isle of Man's Lieutenant Governor, is examining issues affecting the industry and looking at possible obstacles to future expansion.
Managing Director of Manx Telecom Chris Hall welcomed one and all, and paid tribute to the miles travelled by delegates to get to the Island (audio file attached):
