The Exchange returns later this month

Event to focus on family-run businesses

Barclays is hosting an event, The Exchange, later this month to discover what makes family-run businesses tick, and how investors and entrepreneurs can emulate their success.

According to Harvard Business School, family businesses account for two thirds of businesses around the world, and in the US about a third of the S&P 500’s firms are family-controlled.

The Exchange, now in its second year, will feature experts from the world of business and finance.

Barclays’ London-based finance experts Henk Potts and Nick Gordon will be joined by Remi Krug, former president of Krug Champagne, and Peter Lamble, chairman of Start-rite Shoes.

They will debate the secrets behind some of the world’s leading family-run businesses.

The debate will be moderated by financial journalist and former host of Sky News’s breakfast programme, Sunrise, Emma Crosby.

The Exchange will take place on the evening of Tuesday, 22 November.

Places are limited and you can register your interest online at wealth.barclays.com/theexchange.
