
A manager at the Manx Electricity Authority has been elected deputy president of a top industry body.
Generation Manager Alan Cubbon was voted into the post at the Institution of Diesel and Gas Turbine Engineers.
Alan has been a member of the Institution – the professional body for power engineers - since 2003 and is a director and trustee.
He’s responsible for the Island’s three diesel power stations in Ramsey, Pulrose and Peel as well as the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine at Pulrose and Sulby’s Hydro Station.
