
The Manx holiday brochure, so long a precursor of spring, came close to being abandoned this year.
However the industry representative body, the Manx Hospitality Partnership, has agreed to take on production for a year on a trial basis.
They say that in a survey of advertisers, 85% said the brochure generated 50% of their total bookings, so they could not afford to drop it.
