Holiday maker escapes the rock at a click
Douglas-based Richmond Travel is claiming the Island's first ever direct flight holiday booked entirely online, has been arranged through its new venture escapetherock.co.uk
The trip to Venice, Verona and Lake Garda operated by Newmarket Holidays, was searched and booked on the site, with all the customer's travel, transfers and accommodation confirmed online.
Richmond Travel launched the website in late 2016, promising clients 'the convenience of booking online 24/7, with the reassurance of offline support from their local Richmond Travel and Mann Link Travel stores should they require it.'
Branch manager Luisa Crabtree said "Although the majority of our clients prefer to visit us in branch for the added value and service and travel knowledge they receive, it is great to see we can cater for other customers who may work full time or are too busy to visit the branch."
