A doubling of the fee for an Isle of Man work permit has been officially approved.
The rise, from £25 to £50, will come into effect from April 1.
It covers both new and renewed applications for employment or self-employment.
Additionally, the changes also introduce a processing fee for Residential Status enquiries of £20 per application.
It’s the first time in five years work permit fees have increased, despite rising inflation.
