£300 lump sum Covid isolation payment being scrapped

Government reverting back to Incapacity Benefit payments

People who contract Coronavirus from Friday will no longer be eligible to apply for the Manx Isolation Payment.

Government is scrapping Covid-specific financial assistance, in line with dropping all remaining rules, from 1 April.

The £300 lump sum was introduced in January, in response to the sharp rise in Omicron cases, and replaced a weekly Incapacity Benefit payment.
