Peel Traditional Boat Weekend takes place
There's a chance to see a host of traditional sailing vessels from around the British Isles in the West of the Island this weekend (28-29 July).
The visiting wooden crafts are in Peel Harbour to take part in the annual Traditional Boat Weekend.
On Saturday afternoon there's a chance to see them take to the water under the power of sail between midday and 2pm.
Then there's a chance to see some more newly-created boats take to the water, courtesy of a boat building competition, as organiser Mike Clarke explains:
Sailings altered as 'ongoing dredging issues' lead to 'insufficient water depths in Douglas port'
