Affordable housing to free school meals: first Tynwald of 2020

Thirty-six questions for oral answer at Tuesday's sitting

Affordable housing, free school meals and turning sub-post offices into mini welcome centres across the Isle of Man.

These are just some of the 36 questions to go before Tynwald next week for oral answer.

The first Tynwald sitting of 2020 starts on Tuesday, with a broad range of topics up for discussion.

In one of six questions, Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper wants to know what improvements have been made to access and availability of affordable housing.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse is asking what discussions there have been to turn the Island's sub-post offices into mini welcome centres.

Meanwhile, member for Ayre and Michael Tim Baker wants to know what progress is being made on the 'transformation of the health service'.

Listen to the sitting live on Manx Radio AM 1368, online at manxradio.com or via the smartphone apps from 10.30am on Tuesday (21 January).
