There's also a yellow weather warning for overtopping

Two Steam Packet sailings have been cancelled today, Saturday 24 January, because of the weather.

The Manxman did leave for Liverpool just after 8am, but the return at 2pm and the next scheduled sailing to Heysham, at 7:15pm have both been cancelled.

There's still a question mark over tomorrow's 1:45am Heysham to Douglas sailing

Passengers affected by the disruption are advised to contact the Steam Packet reservations team.

You can find all the details here.

Meanwhile there is a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping from 1:30pm on Saturday until 5am on Sunday.

The Met Office says Strong east to southeast winds will causes waves to splash over at exposed coastal localities around the time of the next two high tides, which are at around 2:51pm and 3:12am.

Douglas promenade will be particularly affected, as well as Laxey and Ramsey promenades.
