Several promenades likely to be affected
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will be in force this afternoon (16 February).
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office runs from 12pm until 3pm with numerous areas likely to be affected.
Officials say promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey and Castletown as well as Shore Road in Gansey are among the areas at risk.
Forecasters say there will also be a chance of some slight debris around the time of high tide today at 1.30pm.
