Figure includes 25 key workers and 43 patient transfers

Almost 170 people came to the Island during the first week of the current lockdown.

Figures published in Tynwald show there were 144 arrivals, between 3 and 9 March, plus 25 key workers during the same period.

Seventy were returning residents while 43 were patient transfers.

A further 23 arrived after being given a contractual exemption and eight were permitted to visit for compassionate reasons.

The majority of the key workers were for the department of health and social care.
