Amber warning for coastal overtopping

'Significant' overtopping expected

An amber warning for coastal overtopping has been issued for tomorrow (18 February). 

'Significant' overtopping of waves will affect parts of the Island as strong to gale force winds are expected.

Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey promenades are likely to be most impacted, but Castletown prom and Shore Road could also be affected. 

The warning will be in place from 10am to 2pm.
