Melting snow expected to freeze later today
Another Amber weather warning has been issued for today, this time for ice and frost.
It comes into place at 10am, as the snow warning ends, and will be in effect until 10am Saturday (11 March).
The Ronaldsway Met Office says lying snow will soon turn slushy and slowly melt with bright or sunny conditions today.
However, it's warned temperatures will quickly fall below freezing this evening to give a widespread frost and any untreated damp or wet surfaces will readily turn to ice, giving hazardous conditions on the pavements and roads.
It covers hills and high ground for the whole period, and the whole island this evening and tonight.
