Amber warning issued ahead of Storm Ciara

Rough waves to bring debris onto coast roads

Rough waves will bring debris onto the Island's coast roads over the weekend.

The Island's Met Office has issued an amber weather warning, which will come into place from 9pm tomorrow until 1.30pm on Sunday.

Storm Ciara will bring a significant amount of sea water onto exposed coastal routes, as well as some minor inner harbour flooding around high tide.

There's also a yellow warning for coastal overtopping later today, as well as a yellow warning for gales over the weekend.
