Strong winds to combine with high tide
There'll be an amber weather warning in place later tonight (3 November) for coastal overtopping.
Strong south-southwest winds are to combine with the high tide this evening (9:35pm) to give moderate overtopping of sea water and debris onto exposed coastal roads and promenades.
The areas most affected will be Shore Road (Rushen), Castletown Promenade, the northern end of Douglas Promenade, and to a lesser extent Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
That warning will come into place at 7:35pm and will be lifted at 11:35pm.
