But Hooper insists impact on waiting times 'not insurmountable'
The Health Minister admits there is an issue at the moment in terms of recruitment of ambulance staff on Island.
Lawrie Hooper says there are currently numerous vacancies in that area locally that are yet to be filled.
Ambulance waiting times have been have recently come under scrutiny in the UK.
Mr Hooper says whilst the vacancies here are having a 'slight impact' on waiting times, it's not a challenge that is 'insurmountable':
