A motorist involved in a crash in Andreas this morning was taken to hospital.
It happened near the village's church, with the vehicle ending up on its roof and being badly damaged.
There was a full turnout of the emergency services.
The driver was taken to the minor injuries unit at Ramsey Cottage Hospital for checks.
The police say there was black ice in numerous places in the north of the Island this morning, and similar conditions are likely again tonight.
