Traditional event starts at 2pm
As is tradition, the annual St John's Fell Race takes place today, and fancy dress (within reason) is encouraged.
The race will start at 2pm, with signing on at St John's FC's clubhouse from midday.
It counts as a round of the junior league, but not the senior one.
In addition to a plea for nothing too extreme fancy dress-wise, organisers Manx Fell Runners also urge competitors to be prepared to inclement weather, particularly on the tops, so a waterproof jacket would be wise.
