Four people injured on Sunday
Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a crash in the south of the Island left a woman with serious injuries.
The incident happened just after 5pm on Sunday near Kentraugh on Shore Road in Gansey, and involved a black Vauxhall Corsa and blue Suzuki Swift.
The 20 year old woman driving the Corsa was taken to Nobles hospital before transferring to the UK, where she remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the Suzuki, and two passengers, remain at Nobles Hospital.
The road was closed for five hours last night as police investigated – officers now say they'd like to hear from anybody who saw either vehicle before the crash.
